The Dark's stranglehold on mortals became even stronger in 2075 when it found two more Shards. With it's three shards, instead of imbuing itself with power, The Dark instead created loyal minions and developed Drow, Orcs, Goblins, and Duregar from captured Elves and Dwarves. It also developed the first Dragons.

Recently it has been revealed that later that year, a huge number of Goblins revolted against the Dark. Not many who revolted lived through the escape, but those who did stole away to what would later be called the Southbone Mountains where they hid for many centuries.
