History

The Harvest Moon Campaign World's history is long, rich, and bloody. After the Dark Times, the people of the world were scattered and tired, as was the Earth. Societies developed in small regions throughout the world, each developing it's own culture and history. When people began travelling and trading again, these cultures came together and caused some conflict. However, global forces such as religion and Dragons forced these people to work together to fight common threats.

Recorded histories can be researched throughout the world, the most accurate accounts are usually hidden, though. It's best to assume that a Knowledge(local) or Knowledge(history) Modifier of +2 is required to have off-hand knowledge of any events that have occured this year. +4 is required for the past decade, +6 is required for the past 50 years, +8 for the past century, +10 for the past millennia, and an additional +4 for each millennia before that. Assume any research about a specific event listed here to be a DC equal to 10 + the modifier required to know about it in the first place. For example, the DC to research something on this list from a century ago would be 18.
