The Maker's Guild is considered a very selective group of individuals. Most members hold the power of creation in high regard, and many are highly proficient at it. Though there are a large number of members who are incapable of using magic, at least two thirds can. The guild has no preference for the kind of magic a potential member uses, all that matters is they display a high proficiency with creating lasting works. Extra points if you can make something from nothing.

The Makers have had a close relationship with the Mayor of Jerusalem and the city in general for centuries. It was they who first raised the city's tall, thick, ebony walls and battlements. When The Wards were first conceived, it was the Makers who were called to aid in the excavation and to raise the new walls.

This guild makes a lot of money from the construction industry. Sometimes, very difficult and delicate tasks are required on a project. The Makers are usually called in to develop a problem solving solution involving magic or another ingenious methodology.

The Makers call a tall, gray building their home, dwarfed in height only by the Spire of Enlightenment itself. Five hundred members and their families live in the Keystone. The tall, pyramid-shaped tower stands like a sharp canine amidst the rest of the jagged teeth in the Alchemist's District.
